Post 55 Monk Scalp?

I've read up many 55 Monk builds, but none of which justifies their choice for the 55 Monk Scalp, either if it is Divine Favor, or Smiting Prayers. Can anyone give me their views on what is best for a 55 Monk Scalp?

If your going solo, therefore killing things. Smiting.

If your going with a partner, you shouldn't even have a single point in smiting for a simple smite run. Divine Favour.

Some may have different builds but basically smiting is maxed when solo, divine is pretty high when duo. Don't complain about the cost, your a 55 farmer, 2 ectos pays for a rune.

Sometimes when I cast up Blessed Aura when I'm soloing, depending on how much I have in divine, I'll switch on my Divine Favor headpiece for a bonus + Divine while casting that enchantment. Then though I switch back to my smiting headpiece.

BTW what build does a 55 run when duoing UW? I've only done 55ing soloing stuff so far.

I've got 3 headpieces. One healing, used when casting mending to get the +4 regen, one smite, used when soloing, and one DF, used when running a SB build.

Still protective spirit and the other good stuff, but instead of being aggressive, just use Spellbreaker to avoid getting enchant stripped. SS takes care of enemies.

Ya I do the switch for 13 healing from 12 healing in areas where I might encounter a tad bit of degen like bleeding or something, but in most places I just go at 9 healing for +3 mending and +7 breeze for +10 to max out regen. This allows to put more into divine so blessed aura makes SoJ and all the other enchants last that much longer.

Yup, 3 headpieces are the way to go. It's annoying having to root around for them in your inventory when your enchants get stripped though. Realistically, you can get by with just a smiting scalp for normal farming or just a divine favor one for UW. But hey, you're blowing 50k or so on 55 monk gear, why not go the extra mile?

i use a healing scalp. runes dont stack so stack up with healing. then when u change ur monk build for a healing monk for pvp or whatever u can change the armour and keep the sup scalp which in the long run saves u about 10k :P
hope that helped.

P.S - not sure if it was said before.. didnt read all the other comments. apologies if it was.
